Christopher Decicco, Esq.

Chris graduated in 1999 with a B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York and in 2003 with a J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from New York Law School where he served on the Law Review. While in law school he worked as a legal intern in the Richmond County District Attorney’s office in New York City.

Since 2004 Chris has served as Counsel to the Minority Leader of the New York City Council. In this role, Chris advises the Minority Leader on all legal matters and coordinates the legislative agenda for the delegation, including the passage of numerous local laws. In recognition of his work, Chris was recognized by City Hall News in New York City in its September 2006 issue as a “Rising Star: 35 under 40, The Next Generation of Political Leaders in New York” and was honored in 2009 by the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation with its “20 Under 40 Leadership Award.”

Prior to his service in the legislature, Chris served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Paul Chaiet, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey (Monmouth County). As part of his clerkship, Chris served as a mediator for the Small Claims Division of the Special Civil Part.

Chris is a key team member with Bolio & Company, acting as a consulting attorney.
